The Sea of Galilee- A day that left me Undone by His Grace.

Updated: Apr 13, 2022

I could not find myself able to just share a photo on social media without expressing the glory and anointing of this place. Israel in itself, is like no other land you will ever visit. I’ve heard so many say that you will come to this place and never be the same. It is true. Nothing can really prepare you for it, but to walk where Jesus has walked, leaves you breathless. I found myself in tears most of the day and awe of the Lord. I feel His presence in a whole new way. It’s like being on a personal adventure, with Jesus and He is your tour guide.

I’m going to do my best to blog on each place that we visit. Some blogs will be out of order in regards to the day that we visit it, because for some places I have to process it and find myself unable to even speak or write. The Sea of Galilee is definitely one of those places. Here you will find a boat that was found deep under the sand. Experts have determined that the boat is 2000+ years old. How they were even able to save it was a miracle in itself, but it surely was here when Jesus was here. It could’ve possibly even been the boat that He was on, or a boat that He leaned on as He taught and spoke to the disciples. As I stepped onto the steps of a boat that would take me out on the water I had no idea what I would experience. There on what was called the Faith Boat we worshipped the Lord. These are some of my favorite pictures because of the spiritual place I was in when they were taken. It was here that Jesus walked on water, it was here He calmed the storm, and it was here when He chose his disciples.

“As Jesus walked beside the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. Come, follow me, Jesus said, and I will send you out to fish for people. ” Mark 1: 16-17

Today, Jesus is still staying, Come follow me.
