Here Is Your Heart Sticker!

I was playing with my son. He said, “Momma you have been a good girl, I am so proud of you, and today, you are going to get a sticker.” He reached over and peeled off a heart sticker and placed it on my hand. In that moment, I couldn’t resist the biggest smile and I was reminded of God’s creativity and how He brings joy to our hearts in even the smallest ways! How special you feel when someone of authority sets you apart, and gives you something special like a sticker to reward you, so you can be reminded all day as you wear it, of the goodness in you.

You remember? I am sure sometime in your childhood this has happened to you, but if not, today is the day!

Then I was inspired “Give em a heart sticker, let them know how much love I have for them.”

“How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them, they out number the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139: 17-18

You are incredibly valuable to God! He wants you to know how precious you are in His sight and to stand steadfast and confident in His love for you.

As I sat in the kitchen, smiling down at the heart sticker on my hand, I looked up to notice my sons artwork on the fridge. I was so proud, as was my son of his artwork. I didn’t put it on the fridge because it was perfect. I put it on the fridge because of my love for my son, and because it was made by him. In other words, God puts our artwork on the fridge. He is proud of us the same way. He sings over us, claps over us, and cheers us on. We make His heart sparkle!!

Just as we care for our own, He cares and loves us! He is pleased and rejoices over us when we obey, love others, serve others, and mirror His character. He gives us rewards because He is proud of us. He bends His knees when we fall and tends to our boo boos, His healing cleanses our wounds, and His power and tender care sets you on a course to go and play again. He watches over us, protects us, and loves us at all times!

So, today receive your very own heart sticker!
